Did you know that this one online muliplayer RPG called Everquest (I think) is so massive that it has it's own exchange rate between it's virtual money and real money?

Guild Wars is nice, but I'm waiting to see if they can pull off a good expansion before I go and buy it (the game isn't free, of course, but online play is).

There was a guy on my wing one year who played Everquest pretty much continuously when he was in his room. Then he told someone else that Civilization was a stupid game because it takes so long to play.

Its just so astonishing that technology has advanced so far that a virtual game is considered a real comunity.
