I think that lexicographers have lost even that sense of humor. Once on deviant art I posted to the forums: "Should we accept 'teh' as a proper spelling"- I was kidding of course, but GOOD GOD I thought I was going to be lynched by the proper-grammar mob! Seriously: people freaked the fuck out that I even suggested it.

-oh, and after I made the dictionary comment above I thought "maybe for spelling" but even that is written pretty plainly on the cover...

You might want to know the etymology of the word or something.

"xian"? Pretty weird abbreviation if you ask me.

x as in x-mass.

-and also it supposidly was an X that people in them days were being crucified on as opposet to the more familiar lower case t (sans serrif)

I don't know who Mark Steyn is or where he's from, but I liked this quote:
