That's so awesome this "gay marriage" thing is getting forced to the forefront. I have to laugh when these groups say they are trying to "defend" marriage by trying to "prevent" people from getting married. If you are a man who doesn't like the idea of men marrying men, DON'T MARRY ONE. (substitute woman and women at will) Butterfly Dream rocks! *stggerlee winks*

So how's the weather? I heard Steve's stuck at home cause the roads are iced over.

*puts the thin ice in a blender and makes margaritas*

An institution like marriage cannot be redefined by legislation. The government does not wield that kind of power.

If so, it'll be nice to see the government step out of the way.

My favorite thing about the gay marriages in SF is that the first couple had already been together for 51 years. Too bad they had to wait so long to make it 'official.'

Happy Valentine's Day and here is poem for all those people that like poems It's my own original poem and I hope you guys like it.:

Title: completing me

Something is missing
I don't know what it is
I feel like there is a hole in me
But when I look I can't find anything wrong
The hole hurts
And I think I know
What the problem is
My heart is missing
Until now I never noticed
Not until I met you
The reason that I know about the hole
Is because you filled it
When you came into my life
You made me complete
And I just thought you should know
I hope I filled you as you filled me

Poems are a great way to express one's emotions. I found the poem by Scooby-Doo as something sooo emotional it is almost intimate. I thin the poem was awesome and you should keep writing them. I also think any one else who has a story or something they would like to share they should post it here. Or maybe we should get a new forum for stories, poems, etc.

Okay, I have a poem to share it is a love poem that my friend wanted me to write for his girlfriend then after thinking about a guy who makes my life special I came up with this. It's 100% sap. So if you don't like sappy things don't read this.

I see perfection
In your eyes
and in your soul
Your eyes reflect
Everything that is good
In this world
And beyond
Your voice is like music
A melody of perfect happiness
And joy

You take me from a world of pain

The guitar is his life

He breathes for someone he loves

I hear my heart beating to his guitar
