Bug Stomp

The April 24 bug hasn't been fixed yet.

Today I noticed an additional (minor) bug concerning the transcripts - when I look at my own transcripts (of Mome Rath), I see the avatar and name of my last-created bot on the top instead of my own avatar and name.

Also I've ran into a but where I can't update my bot with new transcripts and I have no idea why. Any help would be great.

Line breaks are not working.

I found the issue causing the transcripts to stop getting date markers since April 24th. Verification will come at midnight if a new date (May 31st) is automatically added.

prob - in what chat interface are you seeing this? Flash chat or text? Also, which bots are you caught up on that I can clear the transcripts from?

I am caught up on all bots so you can delete all the old transcripts. The line breaks are just getting stripped out as they are added

Sorry what I meant was that I can add any new key phrases to any of my bots. I can only add on seeks to already established key phrases. And whenever I try to add the new phrases the x-things are listed in the normal key phrases. This has been happening to all my bot and I have no clue how to get it to work.

I've set up a new bug tracking system that will help immensely with tracking and fixing bugs.

prob - I've added your line break issue into the issues. Does this happen with import or via the Language Center? Does it happen when adding a response, editing a response, or both?

It happens most often via the language center, but I have had the < get stripped out. both ways.

Mome Rath - great job reporting detailed bugs. A few questions:

The issue you reported with the keys missing has been resolved, right?

How about the issue when being logged out shows you still logged in? I just tried to log out and check my status in another window and it seemed to be working correctly.

Do you always get logged out when trying to download your bot's export file?

the issue with the log out status has been fixed for weeks, thanks.

Same with the logout when downloading exported files.

I was waiting for a report of these issues having been worked on to tell it was ok now, and then forgot, sorry.

There are still issues with the keys. Example (/dev/coffee and me talking):

Keyphrase:
test keys 1 (*) 2 (*) 3

Response phrase:
prekey=[(prekey)]; key1=[(key1)]; key2=[(key2)]; key3=[(key3)]; postkey=[(postkey)]

Me:
whatever test keys 1 r 2 s 3 t 4 u

Bot:
prekey=[]; key1=[are]; key2=[]; key3=[]; postkey=[]

Only key1 is filled correctly (after spelling correction), and key3 is empty as it should be.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or something screwy in the SQL tables for my bot but I don't seem to be able to create any new self-memories for Jocasta. I can use the same calls in another blank bot and they work just fine. I've posted the actual script to the bug reporting site.

And now as I'm writing this Jocasta seems to be broken.

I just fixed several issues in the AI Engine's emotional-content detection system (details in my post in the News forum). Let me know if you see any issues pop up.
