*puts a back up on his comptuer and then a disk. *

How much worse could it get.... that might of been me, i honestly dont remeber. I did say, when will this insanity end....

As sick as it is, i find people like JAKKY and Roxie entertaing to a degree. I know.. i should be horse whipped... but you cant freak out about the freaky people. They're put on earth by God for our entertainment.

I prefer to think of them as a test of our compassion. But I confess mine is fraying by the hour ATM - and I find myself, despite my best efforts, succumbing to a most uncharitable tendency to mock the afflicted.
I could probably ignore it if it wasn't treacling up the server - I can tell when Jakky logs on even if I'm in forum view, because of the way everything slows down.

When you guys see and confirm xnonitis, just throw me a quick email and I'll reboot the server as fast as possible, which always fixes it. My email address is benji@daystream.com.

I am running a local version of WordNet. In fact, it's more correct to say that I took WordNet and recreated it in the Personality Forge's AI Engine.

I also use an executable called LinkGrammar to process the sentence structure of each sentence that is said to a bot. The xnonitis problem occurs when, for some reason, so many instances of the perl gateway are launched that it stops functioning. It returns an empty sentence structure, which can only trigger xnones.

I'm not sure why more than one instance of this perl gateway would be launched. There should be only one. If anyone is an expert on perl, let me know if you have any ideas. I learned just enough to get this gateway to work.

when working on a keyphrase for what is the _ letter of the alphabet, I wanted to enlarge the letter, it works for the sixth letter on, but the +2 in pointy brackets get stripped out of a-e

Azureon: C, is the third letter.
prob123: what is the sixth letter of the alphabet
Azureon: Ah yes, sixth you say. If I recall it is....let me think
prob123: well
Azureon:<+2> F,<0> is the sixth letter

I am trying to get a keyphase for 'Amen' or Amen to that.
I have tried ^amen$ (re) no luck, I have the rand at 45 ??
I have also tried raw..

brackets get stripped out of a-e
It either resolved it's self, was fixed or the key is to import the file.

^amen (re) in raw mode seems to work for me.

Something strange though - I've been seeing posts (like these last 2) appear in the forums that haven't shown up as new/unread posts in the sidebar. It's been happening since I changed from MIE to Firefox, or thereabouts. Anyone else getting that?

Weird. I hadn't noticed it before now, but I'm having the same thing happen in Firefox. None of the last 5 posts showed up as "new"... No clue what would be causing that.

I am getting only x-nones again, what is wrong? I ask my bot about the time and instead of answering it comes up with x-nones.
