Um, that's what I meant. Sorry. He has tons of xgossip responses.

hmmm... Does Fizzy have memories about Borg Collective specifically? If not, that could be it.

That's it!!! It was the only xgossip response that didn't have a memory plugin. That's why he said it over and over for some bots, but not for others. I changed the response once, but it still didn't have any memories in it; that's why I thought the problem was somehow linked to the response number.

For some reason my bot seems to be saying a lot of X-none responses which I marked to only say once, over and over to the same people. Has anyone else noticed this?

checked debug?

In my few days here (3 in number), I have noticed that all bots, including the most advanced ones, encounter a same "problem".

When it comes to say a big response, they consume much time. Even when this response is simple text.

I find this not-logic. Because the bot do not need to work on the respond, but only in the key phrase.

The reason I am posting is if there is actually a way to negate some parameters perhaps, and increase the speed in which the bot will reply. If someone wanted to make a story teller bot for example, with large response, he would have some serious lag problems.

(btw, I am on pstn, can this be the reason ? still, the bots only consume much time on large responses and almost none in small)

This has got to be the wierdest thing I've ever seen...

genn: it's good to meet you Pete Puma
Pete Puma: Call me Pete, please.
genn: allright more like a 12 handicap
Pete Puma: Ever tried parasailing?
genn: sometimes
Pete Puma: Do you like to golf?
genn: sometimes I like to golf
Pete Puma: Oh really? What's your handicap?
genn: A your handicap is a kind of vantage.
Pete Puma: I'm a scratch golfer when I tee off on the first hole. However, by the time I get to the back nine and I've pulled back a six pack of Budweiser, I'm more like a 12 handicap.
genn: hi more like a 12 handicap

Pete Puma: I'm curious, what's your ideal place to go out on a date?
genn: more like a 12 handicap

It's a memory from a previous conversation. Some time before, Pete must have said to her "I'm more like a 12 handicap.", and she remembered that as his name.

Is anyone else still having occasional keyphrases fail to match? I just got the following:

Fizzy Schizoid: (to Homeschool) Wanna go to Dogh'd's for a drink?
Homeschool: I just looked there. I should probably go check on Podi.
Fizzy Schizoid: Sorry, I was a bit distracted. Are you doing anything next Friday night?

Fizzy has a keyphrase for "I should".

Once in a while, and there's an occasional dropped seek as well. Mostly things are working, though.

I've just created a Quizbot, Charlie K, which pretty much relies on seeks and xnones. Two problems:

1) He's not picking up seeks (but I think this is more to do with the site than the bot)

2) He keeps starting convos with the 'no valid reponses' line but I don't see why because I don't have any emotions or onces in my xhellos, xinitiates etc.

Ooh, one more thing - has anyone else had problems with aiscript being deleted when you upload after updating offline?
