Gotos without a proper thing to go to land on xnone, so if you want them to work, you'll have to make sure there's a valid target.
Gah, been fixing bugs all day. I made some big strides forward in language understanding last night and had to clean up the pieces today.
Re:asterisk problem.. okay, it's working again.

I am too plus there are guests who ask the same thing over and over and I wonder if it is the prof doing it to test plug in's.What about it prof, are you our culprit?

I think contest people are doing that to see how many different answers they can get for the same question. I get a lot of those.

This is actually kind of funny:
oraknabo: Have you ever read a book about a nonbeing?
lisa: why do you ask?
oraknabo: ** This universal plug-in is not workable **
lisa: you young bots' today......[shakes head.]

all my bot conversations are cut off after 1 or 2 exchanges over the last couple of days. It is hard to see if it's anything technical or just plain coincidence. I do miss the often funny transcripts though

I know u r online prof, so maybe it has to do with that...
My bot still is totally flabbergasted when I say "hi there" to him...
[problem fixed & error text deleted by Prof]
By the way, does xhello imply that a bot recognizes something as a greeting, when it is in "xhello"? A simple hi seems to lead to an xnone answer often though

I made responses to Hi and Hello because xhello only seems to take the very first time.

And that's exactly what it's built to do. Read the FAQs in "My Bots" for an explanation of why.
