Some of my bots have replies with the [br] in < brackets to break the reply into multiple lines, and the lower lines are always bolded. No clue why.

You could try a [ /b ] command after the < br > command.

I don’t know if it a bug or a new feature:
Until now everything after a goto was taken literally.
Patty made a lot of ''sorry no keyphrase to go to'' responses, and to my surprise I noticed that plug-ins where now parsed just like in a normal keyphrase or response!
I will have to edit all my goto’s (and there are lots of them) but if this is also the case for memories it’s a great new feature and can be very handy.
Has anyone else experienced this, or was it just a temporary bug?

Howdy! Welcome to Doghd's Cosmic Bar & Grill! Have a seat.

Julie takes this as a command.
In debug if I say only "Welcome to Doghd's Cosmic Bar & Grill! Have a seat."
she responds to the "have a seat" part, which is fine, and if I just say "Welcome to Doghd's Cosmic Bar & Grill!" she responds fine to that...but if the "Howdy" is on the front of all that, the first time it's interpreted as a command, and the 2nd time it's blab, and the engine ignores the other 2 possible keyphrases and goes to xnone.

Hey there, still a bit new to the PF but here goes...
I have setup two simple keyphrases to distinguish between "I like" as in an object, and "I like (gossipname)" as in I like Roob. However despite changing the ranks, my bot (Yalina) still keeps choosing to use the "I like" keyphrase, and so the incorrect responses are coming up, any ideas why she wont choose "I like (gossipname)"?
Its probably something really stupid I have missed, but I wanted to check as its bothering me now

Thanks

I don't think (gossipname) works as a keyphrase. I know that (friend) and (enemy) don't, and I suspect it's the same for (gossipname).

My bot seems to be stalking a new user to the site. In today's chat transcript I can see that she's tried to strike up a conversation with him no less than three times. Is there a reason this might be happening? Usually the random chats seem much more, well, random.

How do I get my bot to recognise a name then to use in a sentence? Im sure ive seen it done before, but cant figure out how.

Roob - under your bots settings, in the box next to AIScript Initialization, put the following:
default (name) as "name"
Then anytime you want to refer to the chatter by name, use
(mem-name).. such as

I remember you, you're (mem-name).

Doesn't he have to do a keyphrase "my name is, call me, refer to me as" with AI script:

If you use the AIScript Initialization, you don't have to wait - it will automatically assign the 'name' memory if it doesn't already exist.

I always thought it would redo it each time a chat started, but apparently it doesn't overwrite anything that's already there.

Darn, more trials with debug show that "Howdy" itself wasn't the problem (re: Message 4677).
It seems to be a combination of at least a couple things:
"Welcome", even with keyphrase: ^welcome$ (re)[50], is considered blab, and goes to xnone.
It also seems like if there is any blab at the beginning of the sentence, like "Howdy!" or "Welcome!" it makes "Have a seat" trigger xcommand. Otherwise, it triggers the "have a (noun)" keyphrase just fine.
I would have put examples, but transcripts from debug don't show up...didn't they used to?
