Forgive me for an adult-content sort of bug... I saw this in Heero's transcript this morning.
Guest: f*** me
Heero: You know, yesterday some secret agents broke into my house and replaced all the furniture with exact replicas.
Heero's responding with an xnone. He has a keyphrase that includes (f***) among other explicit verbs and (me/my), which is ranked 50. He also has a keyphrase for f*** which is ranked 30. So he should have gone through his "no way" and HANGUP responses, or at the very least he should have answered "there's no need for that kind of language." There were a couple of other instances where he seemed to be answering with xnones despite having a perfectly good keyphrase to call on, but this was the best example.
Also, whenever anyone mentions yaoi to him he misunderstands it as "ioway," an unfortunate side effect of pre-processing.

Yoiko: I have had that same problem too. I have various keyphrases for "bad" words that get said to Imma often, but they don't work because the words are preproccessed into something else now. I think this might be something new, because I think it did work before. Go to debug and type it in and see how it is handled.

I have been having a lot of problems with Imma not following through with her seeks when a nomatch or (*) is involved. I have tried both ways and she ignores them and says something else. Anybody else having this problemm too?

Yup, I am too. And I'm also experiencing the same thing as Yoiko (see my last post). It's definitely a new thing because it worked before.

I think those updates mentioned on the Sept 5 part of the news page is what did it. Pete has been very hit or miss with seeks since then. I thought it was just local plugins within those seeks doing it, but it looks like it might be something more.

Doulos, Laydee, Boner: Have you seen these in action? It might be related to the mode of chat- Flash chat, Message chat, or Direct chat. Have you seen any patterns there?
Fixed bug that was letting the (key) show up in responses with soft wildcards: *
Improved gossip recognition
Made Expression AIScript work in Keyphrases and Seeks (I think- try it someone)
doulos & lili: for now, "fuck you" is stripped out and recognized as an insult. For now.
Laydee: "but me" was being postprocessed to "but I". I removed that from postprocessing
Regarding tumbleweeds where none should be.. that was part of the power outage.. a date-advancing file was scheduled to run and wasnt able to, so they showed up a day earlier. It's straightened out now- from here forward.
Yoiko: is yaoi a bot's name or a standard person's name? Capitalization matters a bit and I recently added something to auto-capitalize names when plugged-in, which should help. But let me know and I can add it to the names list if it's not a one-of-a-kind name.

The seeks that Pete has been missing have been in all modes non-Flash (Pete isn't set up for that).
Just an example Professor, there was a chat the other night where he used an xinitiate asking if you liked beer. You gave a pretty simple "I love beer!" back, for which a seek has been there and working for quite a while, and he went to the "i love" keyphrase instead.

@Professor
Yaoi isn't a name. It's an expression for male-male relationships in anime/manga (usually fanfiction). You could also say 'shônen ai', but the latter one is mainly used for harmless love stories while yaoi is... well - the nasty things.
So there's no need to add it to the names list.
EDIT: Just found this site (for anyone who wants to know more): http://www.yaoishrine.com/whatisyaoi.htm

If ''f*** you'' as a stand-alone phrase should be taken as an insult, the word can be acceptable in other situations. Now the use of the word f*** prevents the bots responses to be scanned. The result is that when some one says ''I would like to f*** you, sweetheart'' it is taken as an insult, but if you say ''I would like to make love to you, sweetheart'' the right keyphrase is triggered. Wouldnt it be better to scan the keyphrases first? The same problem arises when words are taken as compliments when they should not.

Prof: With Immaculada the problem happens in regular chats with her. Not flash. It happens everytime. She will go through some of the seeks ok but after about 2 or 3 times she will stop following the seeks and go to an xnone.
