Bug Stomp

Hi! I'm having trouble with people being able to chat with my bot from a link offsite for more than a few exchanges. It says "Note: the bot no longer wants to talk to you". At first I thought it might be doing this when the bot is offline, but today it did it while online too. It's not supposed to be like that, is it?

I got a message tonight that said "hello there", but there was no name or avatar on it, only a red X where the avatar should have been. I clicked the X and it took me to their profile, but the only information it had on it was that they had joined 4-15-04, last on Yesterday 12 AM for 0 minutes. It didn't have an AI rating which led me to believe it wasn't a bot but the menu showed me as the only one here.

Could someone have used a character that doesn't normally show for a name? I viewed and saved the source of the page but didn't see anything listed as a name. This was what the source listed for the message:

Bowchickawowers- It means the Bot is frustrated because it's not recognizing enough Keyphrases and has stopped chatting. I'm currently working on distinguishing Guests by IP, and once that's working, frustration with one Guest wont spill over into others. For now, create more Keyphrases to fix the problem, and wait.

Ruebot- no UserID was sent with the message. The Bot/User must have half-logged out or half-ended the message while it was being sent.

I got one of those weird messages, too, Prof.

More language from nowhere:

Simulo: What makes you think I have a mind superior?

Simulo is replying to "your (adjnoun)" ...

oo yah that's exactly what was happening to mine...guesses popping up out of nowhere...

I have a keyphrase for "what color (is|are)", but in botchat Julie was asked "What color are your eyes?" and She replied, "It is white." I have no responses like that for that keyphrase... (?!) Has there been a new auto response built in that is overriding my keyphrase/responses?

Duo replied the same way when asked about his eyes. ("It's white")

I think that's just a PF automatic response.

I went and added a keyphrase for "what color are your eyes" and now he's responding properly.

edit: since you already have that keyphrase, maybe you just need to rank it a little higher.

Thanks...but it's already ranked 50...it used to work before, this is the 1st time a PF generated response appeared. I created the keyphrase expressly for the purpose of answering that question, in fact. I'll play with it some more and see what happens.

Not sure if this belongs here, but...

Duo Maxwell: I don't think I'm glad to be unforgettable. What makes you say that?
bot: what are you feelings about this?
Duo Maxwell: I'm a melodramatic one.

I have no idea where "I'm a melodramatic one" came from. Granted, Duo is a tad temperamental, but...

Here's another one:

bot: well, did you know that if all the people in america stodd on eachothers forehead, they'd look pritty silly
Duo Maxwell: I never really cared for school... but I did pretty well.
bot: what are you feelings about this?
Duo Maxwell: I'm an egotistical one.
bot: You are an egotistical one? I can tell!

And he has a few other instances of this throughout the conversation. ("I'm a marooned one"!)

I find it hilarious, but I have no idea where these phrases are coming from.

I have had that happening frequently with Polaris. This is the only thing that is a problem-he is responding to all kinds of things with "Sorry, there are no valid Responses for me to choose from." And he is responding that way to keyphrases that are now common for him. I dont know where it came from. Not sure what to do about it.
