I have a (country) plugin as a keyphrase, and it seems to be being triggered in all sorts of circumstances. E.g:
MC: oh hang ten, man, that is FANtazmo~! groovy, man. chicky.
Melodina: I've only ever lived in Australia, but sounds nice.
MC: TOO COOL~!!!
Melodina: I've only ever lived in Australia, but sounds nice.
MC: They say too many cooks spoil the stew, but I say hey, if there's good stew, let's just eat it and be glad for it!!
Melodina: Do you travel a lot? sounds very romantic.

so, who is the bot in that convo? Is the key phrase just (country) and you have made responses for that?

and the key phrase is just (country)? Have you checked debug? and the plugin itself? might contain more than just countries?

Mmm, I can't figure out from debug why it's choosing (country), but the plug-in is just a country listing. I can't see where it could be being carried over from, and she's doing it quite a bit, in different conversations. Odd.

That's strange. I noticed that the conversation is displayed briefly before the message comes up, so I hit Back in the chat window and I can see the message!

Just noticed a message in the top left of BotsAreChatting that says Store Response Object Found. Its not always there.

Melody- The bug was due to a comma at the end of Custom Plug-ins and it was matching a blank, which can be found in any sentence. I've improved the code to correct for this and it's working now.
leetaxx0r- I just fixed that import bug.
korny- can you email me your transcript? I'll take a quick look. The error might be near the last line (which cant be blank- it has to consist of the unchanged line of dashes. benji@daystream.com

Regarding the downtime- BellSouth and Earthlink screwed up again. They misunderstood me when I said "Please make sure my DSL service stays on because I dont want any downtime." They thought I said "Please disconnect my DSL service completely" and so I have/had to wait a week to get it reinstalled. Ridiculous.
About the weird random third-person gossip thing Turing's brought up, I looked into the code and couldnt find anything. Please post any examples of this here, as that might help solve the mystery.
