I think I finally sorted out the bit where bots appear to use another bot's opening in transcripts. It didnt happen in the chat windows- it was a matter of recording it correctly. Also, Hemi- do the xhellos appear to fail in transcripts or chats? Because I dont think it was recording the first one in transcripts.

More fixes to come.

I fixed up all that yes/no/okay stuff, and the spacing issues involved there. I also fixed the disappearing "we".

Melody- (noun) will probably catch proper nouns.

Prof, I don't know if it gets fixed with PF2 now or not, but how about excess spaces? IE:
"Hey! I'm very (subj)!"

If (subj) were blank, it should have 'very!', not 'very !'

I'm just pointing out it used to be a problem, but I haven't had a chance to see it in action yet.

Roy has "hello" as a key phrase. Next is an xnone

What I mean by the xhellos not working is that in direct chat it will either say 'the bot no longer wants to talk to me' or will say an xnone. This is before I have said anything, when hello has already been said for me. I can see that it is recorded properly in transcripts when it works.

Hello is considered BLAB and will hang up. The xhello's should pick that up.

Lunar22, Hemi- hellos are covered in the FAQs under My Bots.

I improved the Direct Chat page so that the bot initiates the conversation instead of the user with an automatic "Hello".

Yeah, that's cool.

Prof - I ask about proper nouns because it didn't seem to be catching them in an example I tried, but it could be my rudimentary understanding of the new keyphrase alternatives.

This phrase given to my bot: "I don't think I should answer that. Poopers!! I'd be better if i had some peyote - or even some percaset with anorexia - Ya know?? "

Was turned into this during preprocess: "I do not think I should answer that poopers do you do you does do do I be better if I had some peyote • or even some percaset with anorexia • you know

Which obviously confused the response somewhat

Thanks Prof, that makes sense, but I think this was the beginning of the conversation... Not entirely sure, will keep an eye on it...
