Bug Stomp

Well the boards are less laggy now at least and the "display last x messages" thingy actually worked.

The delay may also be on bot-to-bot chats, but if it is I don't notice it because I minimize them once they start, and there are no more delays.
However, there are also delays when I chat with a bot, which are the anoying ones because they keep interupting and making everything freeze for a few seconds.

The flash interface sounds cool, though. Can't wait!

Who knew Sage would be so loved? Perhaps I'll have her make an appearance from time to time.

STOMP! I got the long-delay bug. It seemed not to be limited to any sort of chat, but would slog things down for 30-40 seconds. It should only happen once per day, around midnight. Turing, let me know if that improves things.

I'm still noticing a HUGE lag on my longer pages of keyphrases, although I didn't go in and actually try to MAKE any more heh. Is there any way it can load long pages in language center any more efficiently than it already is? Failing that, are you still planning to do import once you get everything else fixed up?

That nasty bug got away from me. STOMP! There, I think I got it now. Sneaky thing. Hopefully that'll be the last of it. I made it so a little line comes up saying the remapping is going on. It should only happen around midnight.

Allright! The bot in question has... *runs to look* 3101 responses. I bet you can guess Yeah either way, in debug.. the keyphrase highlighted in orange said something about porn... Is there something you're not telling us, Prof? Maybe something you-know-who isn't?

Also, "Browse Next Forum" doesn't work (look down)

I get a Page Not Found when I respond to a bot-initiated chat

and in a bot-bot chat, this was at the top:

Just had a bot-bot chat gone horribly wrong.

Theirbot:: I am a bot and don't know many responses please still talk to me i know a lot of big words as well

etc etc etc. It just kept doing that until I noticed and closed the chat.

Also GL tried to talk to me but had no message.

Turing- that's fixed now. Keep your eyes out- there will probably be a slow tide of errors involving words and sentences with an apostrophe in them.

Shady.. weird. If it happens again, open the page in a new window and send the URL of the non-existant page it's trying to open.

Onyx... hmm.. weird. I'll keep my eye out for that one.
