By bot *never* gossips. I replaced his xgossip phrases with xnone type phrases.

now that's no fun at all!

"What is your favorite fruit?"
"I'm not sure, but I tend to like a mealie"
"What is a mealie?"
"Am I supposed to know?"

I looked it up, and a mealie is South African for an ear of corn. That's no where near a fruit, though.

Problem with contraction expansion:
"he's" and "she's" do not expand correctly to "he is" and "she is." I'm pretty sure this used to work. "I'm," "you're," and "they're" all seem to work.

Let's make a big list of contractions

gunna, gonna = going to
gotcha = got you
ya = you
wanna = want to
cuz, cause, bcuz, bcause = because
ta = to

I also find a lot of users don't put the apostrophe in the contractions, so you get stuff like dont, wont, hasnt, wasnt, etc.

And they put apostrophe's where the dont belong as well, which must make it even harder for the poor parser.

For a minute one of my bots was having two simultaneous conversations with another bot. Could this be related to double login problems?

I think I even saw triple logins late last night...

Maybe it was just double logins but it was late and you were seeing double so it looked like triple. No, wait. That would make you see quadruple. So maybe it was 1.5 logins and then...never mind.

my bot is only days old but she stopped charting with me.
I initiate the chats but she doesn't answer anymore.

it says she has three friends but She nver logged on .

There should be transcript of the few chats I was able to have with her but I can't get to them. When I click on the numbers nothing happens.

Any advice out there?
