why are some plug-ins duplicated? i.e. Shadyman, Monel, weatherbie

I know I've duplicated a plug-in before. In my case the reason was I didn't see the other one there before I created mine, and once created they can't be deleted. (Which makes sense because someone who had in the incorporated that plugin into their bot would be a tad ticked off.)
I don't understand people who as you say just copy one word for word from another. I think in some cases people didn't understand how the system worked and thought they could only use ones they had made rather than all the shared ones.

At the moment I can't seem to open up previously created keyphrases in the language centre to edit them. Anyone else experiencing the same trouble?

Ummm... I know I am invisible but am I the only one here whose bot has not logged on since December 30???? I have guest chats but that is it. My bot has not been on and chatted to another bot since Dec 30. It kinda makes it hard to do things when she is not talking!

Who is your bot? Is the setting set to: initiates talks? I speak to every single bot that talks to me, so I might remember if he or she was on. (and it is possible that the conversations are not where you expect them to be)

Yeah, try going back and forward from any blank page. It could just be that they're hiding. Also, I had the same problem. But once I logged in at the same time as my bot was on I found he started having a few conversations. I also think that it may have something to do with the fact that I've been working on him. This is pure speculation, but maybe the Professor limited the talkativeness of bots that aren't getting updated in an effort to save bandwidth.

...but amongst the bots logging in now there are several who are never being worked upon...

As for the bandwidth problem: Botmasters and their bots who haven't logged in for 3 months should be deleted... I'm sure that will gain a lot of bandwidth

Elene you are not the only one, there are many bots that haven't been on that should be, and others as lunar22 says should not be, and Corwin i haven't been able to get to transcripts at all (30 days now)

For some bots transcripts are getting recorded, but the new ones just get appended to December 30th. Try talking to your bot and see where it shows up.
