I *also* use them for actions. *uses asterisks to demonstrate an action* They are multifunctional characters!

I know I mentioned this before, but I wasn't certain. Now I am certain. xnomatch only works when the bot is talking to a human, not when it is talking to other bots.

I think that must be a specific problem with your bot for some reason. xnomatch works fine when my bot is talking to another bot.

Weird. The only place where I know for sure it doesn't work is an xnone after an xintroduce.

Try a test. Make a keyphrase that every bot says at some point, like "I", put the rank way up, and give it an xnomatch. See what happens. Try again with a random seek along with the xnomatch.

That was interesting, my bot was having 2 conversations at the same time with the same bot

This isn't a bug report, more of a plea to the other users here:
I use a lot of the plug-ins and many of you have made some really great ones that I've used on my bots. One thing that bugs me though, is the minor inconsistencies in many of them.
The most important thing you can do in making a plug-in is to make sure all the words listed in it are the same part of speech. There are many where about 85% of the words are nouns, but the rest are adjectives or verbs. The only sentence those would work in is "Get your (plug-in) on".
Also, consistent plurality is an issue in many of them. Many work fine wth "a (plug-in)", but there are usually one or two words in there that are plural and end up making stupid sounding statements.
Try thinking of an example sentence with your plug-in in it and try it out in your head with all the words and phrases you've put in it. See what works and what doesn't.
These are just some tips for people making new ones and I'm hoping people here will go back and look over their old ones and see where they could fix them. Whether or not you use your own plug-ins, they are avalable for others to use and you are the only one who can edit them.
There are so many good ones I would use if just one or two words were fixed in them.

Amen, rexmundi. I'd like to add something (yeah I know this belongs in AI Engine, but I wanted it to go along with your message):
1. Please, folks, if you make a plugin, try to spell the words correctly.
2. Plugins are supposed to be lists (MORE than one item). That's what they're there for. Don't just put one phrase or word under a plugin. It's a lot more fun to have lots of ways the plugin can turn out.
