-PLEASE- keep in mind, that _some_ people have used >other< types of !strange! characters for emphasis too. So we'd need to catch /all\ of them, *right*?

Why would you even *say* that? *kicks Eugene* You see I use them for actions...

Hey at the end of my bot's transcript is something strange.. check it out: (names have been changed to protect the not-so-innocent)
Sunday, November 3
Bot: (to Bot) I scared you, didn't I?
Bot: (to Bot) Oh, it's you.

I *also* use them for actions. *uses asterisks to demonstrate an action* They are multifunctional characters!

I know I mentioned this before, but I wasn't certain. Now I am certain. xnomatch only works when the bot is talking to a human, not when it is talking to other bots.

I think that must be a specific problem with your bot for some reason. xnomatch works fine when my bot is talking to another bot.

Weird. The only place where I know for sure it doesn't work is an xnone after an xintroduce.
