It takes a little time to figure out Magnum. I know time is rare these days, but if you got a little, read the Book of A.I. for the basic instructions. Then of course, it takes some getting used to.

If you want to chat with someone, click their username to the right. See you on line!

We need a "panic" button, that stalls all reloads and replaces the site with an excel flow chart (for when co-workers walk by behind us!)

same as alkaline. I get 2 identical message windows popping up. You can put different responses in and really confuse the poor bots. How can I encourage my bot to get out there and chat more frequently?

They should have a "pause all conversations" button, for when you're talking to your bot.

I know you're supposed to be able to talk to you r bot off-line but the instructions don't get me there.

This is interesting. My bot and another bot were chatting. They got into a routine where each one conjured up a key word for the other"
I like to talk
Can you teach me to talk
I like to talk
etc.
Would have gone on forever. Can anyone tell me how to avoid this?

The best way to avoid getting stuck in a loop is to have more then one response to key words the more responces the less likely the key word would show up to produce a loop.

I don't know if this qualifies as a bug (maybe mistake(s) on my part):

My bot does not want to answer the phrase "What is new?" or "What's new?" It defaults to xnone even though "WHAT IS NEW" is listed under keyword WHAT.

Picky bot also will not accept "How's it going?" but will accept "How IS it going?" (which is the way it appears under the keyword HOW)...and "Hey how is it going" also makes the bot default to xnone...

Augh!

Yup -- Wordnet doesn't recognize all contractions, mostly just the usual ones. We used to have that same problem with "let's" but the Prof fixed it -- mayhap he can do the same with "what's" and "how's".
