I have a REALLY simple chat screen I wrote in PHP you can look at for ideas. I can send you the files if you're interested. It shouldn't be too hard to comprehend, but I'll comment it up more just to help if you want it.

Once all the current errors and bogdown is sorted out, I was wondering: Would it be possible to pack up all a bot's files and make it so that it could talk in, say, a chatroom? Naturally, a new program would need to be made for people to input their bot files(and reinput whenever they change the bot on the forge).

That would take a lot of work there, kirby.. that would also involve the prof giving out copies of the server code to run the bot files...

I thought maybe it would involve downloading a file including all of the information about your bot, which you would load in another program. There wouldn't be any editing of these files involved, or even viewing them, so I think the code would be relatively safe.

But the loading into another program.. that other program would have to contain the core of the PF Engine.. To be able to decode input and output, etc
