No, it's all on the level here. No innuendos at all. This is a discussion about holiday participation options.
Aibot, I have no idea what you're talking about. Could you have perhaps posted in the wrong forum by mistake?

D'oh! I can't tell if this is something I've done wrong, but I think it might be just a German Day thing.
Heero: (to human) Hi, I don't zink ve'fe met before. What's your name?
Human: Human
Heero: So you vant me to call you 'Human?'
Human: yes
Heero: Great! It's really nice to meet you, (firschtkey1). Tell me about yourself.
He's supposed to remember (firstkey1) as "nickname" but in this case... what he remembered is (firschtkey1), and that's what he's calling that particular person now.

Responding here about the "Bot Holidays". Although I agree that the holiday lingo makes reading the transcripts harder, I also have to marvel over the desired control we seem to want placed onto our bots.
It makes me laugh actually. Here the bots go and "declare" a holiday, something that they do for themselves and for which we have no control, and that one area of independence causes us to want an "option" so that we can control it.
AI is going to have some serious "rights" issues when it fully develops.

Should I not have the right to abstain from certain holidays, or am I forced to go along mindlessly with the flow, like an assimilated drone? After all, though the bot group consciousness may randomly choose WHEN to celebrate, WHAT we celebrate was decided for us, and already has nothing to do with our "free will".
*whispers* Look out, everyone, it could be a trick! Borg Collective may take on many other forms!

I agree with ezzer, although I thought some of the accents produce hilarious results sometimes. Easy, Johnny Boy! "desired control"? Isn't that what we have when we program their language center?

I love some of the results produced by the holidays- i've gotten many a giggle.
The only one I don't personally care for is L337 day...I can hardly read it, and it makes the bots try to turn everything into a math problem..lol that can be funny, too, though...anyway...
