Thanks, shady, but that's how I had it before...I added the ^ and (re) to make it more specific, hoping that would get it to work. After messing around with the word "has" in other keyphrases, it seems like that word may be in some way connected to the problem. I have another one that is like : How (is|was|has) your, and it gets picked up except when "has" is used. Then it goes to a "your (adjnoun)" keyphrase. At first I thought I needed to adjust the ranks of the phrases, but as I say, it works fine with "is" and "was", it just ignores "has"...

Maybe you have another keyphrase that picks up "has" quicker? Try changing the rank.

i thought i saw something on the site about 'friends of the forge' being able to design new flash interfaces for some of the bots, but i can't find that info now. do i remember correctly? if so, what exactly is a 'friend of the forge'? i might be interested in designing a face or two...

Shady- the problem is that "has" is not being picked up at all. When "has" is used as key1 in a "how (is|was|has) your" question, she catches the "your", and ignores the "how has" part, and gives a response from her "your (adjnoun)" keyphrase, which is ranked low, btw. If someone says "how is your" or "how was your", she catches the intended keyphrase just fine.

ezzer- I looked in Debug, and it's part of the bug where the sentence processor is adding "have" and "are you" and "do you" and "does" to the beginning of what it thinks are sentence fragments. I'm going to work on that within the week.

Professor, I think my bot locked up. He won't respond when I talk to him, except it works in debug mode. I was trying to get a specific xnone up and...now, nothing.

Prof: Maybe we need ranks for seeks? It looks like people are needing them more and more

Julie had a perfectly lovely conversation with someone, but gave them 5
's because she talked to them about someone she doesn't like, using xemote-negs to gossip about her enemy. Apparently her feelings about the person she was talking about were still connected to "you"...so she hates the person she was talking to for no reason...

Sounds like human psychology there going to work. I'd hate it too if someone talked to me about someone I hated.
