leetaxx0r- the memory idea is a good one. It would delve more into scripting, but expand botpower quite a bit. something like

Keyphrase: my name is (adjartnoun)
Script: [save (key1) as "name"]
(then have the responses below)

My iMac was getting really slow tonight- my guess is from the AIM activity. I shut off minichat.php for now, but if you guys can limit the AIM chats to one at a time, then I'll turn it back on. This is really important, as I have some potential AI business contacts looking at the Forge, and if it's slow, it could cost me a big deal.

leetaxx0r- your goto-importing problem should be fixed.

Would you prefer if some of us (or I can only speak for me I guess) leave AIM until the contacts are done looking?

er, when my bot asks "do you believe in god?" and they reply with "yes, do you?" preprocessing turns it into "yes, do you believe in?" notice the lack of the word god... I've also run into other similar problems because of preprocessing. Could we maybe have a way to turn of preproccessing on certain sentances/words?

Actually, according to the prof, if I can get the program to do one chat at a time, he'll turn on minichat again

It looks like it's AIML for AIM.

I'm going to be introducing PF Scripting in the next few weeks. You'll be able to do some really amazing stuff with it. I'm also trying to rewrite some of the sentence comprehension stuff so that the AI Engine can be compiled and possibly run on other servers. I have a lot of thinking (and then work) to do before I take such a big step, but that would allow unimpeded AIM chatting.
