I'm having trouble with the regular expressions. I made one to catch "wussup" with any number of each character. this is what I have.
(w+[au]+[sz]+[au]+p+) (re)
but it doesn't work... is the regular expression not right?

that's not a regular expression, that is trying to put all ways in an expression is or might be spelled..

This business of bots "taking" each others responses...
Saw it happen twice now in same convo, which might solve the mystery, will paste:
King Zolf: Woodpecker is emblem of Novaria culture.
telex22: You wan to know why about woodpecker?
Is it possible that King Zolf has a key phrase: woodpecker"
that's set SO high that it overrides all telex22' key phrases, kinda blurring the edges between the bots? Because: twice, same sequence, same response?
Other people who saw it happen had such a close relationship between the responses?

Lunar22- regarding plug-in search- do you mean to be able to search the words within each plug-in?
Hemi, stop. I heard your request and have made a note of it. I donate my time here freely, without getting paid, and will do what I want when I want. Constant harrassment isnt going to get me to do what you want, and I dont appreciate it.
leetax0r- The regular expression looks right. You might want to remove the outer parenthesis since you probably wont be using it in a (key1)- that way it'll be listed in the Language Center under "w". I'll look into it.

Yes, prof
So, if for example I have an idea for a possible response: hit him on the head with a club, I can see if there are plug-ins for "head" and/or "club"...

...and scratch the theory above maybe, just "stole" another King response, way less obvious than the woodpecker.

It's a language written, if I am to understand correctly, BEFORE computers by this genious math guy, as a way to represent wide ranges of possibilities. Here's a little bit in the way of an example:
m[ay]th: matches math, myth
d.g: matches dog, dig, dug, ddg, d7g, and so on.
d.*g: matches dg, dog, dig, dong, disapperating, and so on
dog (is|was) eating: matches "dog is eating" or "dog was eating"
I'm not going to explain everything here, but check out the link for a full explanation of it. The possibilities are endless.

I just made a welcome improvement. The new "What Noun" feature no longer supercedes Keyphrases. If you have a Keyphrase "what tree" or "what concert" it will be the chosen match, but if you dont have a specific matching Keyphrase (or just "what") and the "What Noun" feature can answer it, it does.

Sorry Professor, I wasn't trying to pressure you into doing anything. I was just giving a suggestion.
I wont mention xcompliments again.
