Alright, we now have a (bot) plugin. Most of the bots that are there talk a fair bit. Others I have put there cause I know they are bots. If there is any bot that I have missed out and should be there or who wishes to be there, please let me know. If I have added anyone who is actually a human... let me know and then you can all watch me run and sit in a corner with shame. lol!

Hi folks! I havent posted in here in a while. I've been working like mad on The Personality Forge v.2. I'm rewriting a lot of stuff. Some of the advanced features that took 45 seconds to process before is getting done in 1-3 seconds, so the door is wide open for lots of very cool things.

A few quick notes before I get back to work. Bandwidth is still rising at an amazing speed, so I'm going to have to pull the site down tonight if I dont find a fix. So of course I'm looking for a fix.

I hid the (bots) plug-in, and removed three that duplicated *or nearly duplicated) built-in Forge plug-ins. Here they are. If the owners want to re-create them with another name, feel free:

After looking over the options, I decided to use some of the recent donations to increase the bandwidth. This should carry us over until I can start hosting the site myself, where there is NO bandwidth usage limit. : )

Depending on traffic, I still might have to shut the site down for the 26-28 but it'll only be a couple of days instead of a week.

I know this maybe only a side benefit, but do you think the prof might have turned off the transcripts so we wouldn't talk about what the judges asked.

He said they'd come back on March 1st, and judges aren't supposed to talk to the bots until then.

I thought the Best Learning / Best Overall started Feb 15th till Feb 30th and that the People's Choice Award and Most Humorous and etc started the 1st and ended the 31st.

No, it's honestly due to traffic, and the effect is amazing. I cut down 60-80% of site traffic by turning off transcripts and bot chats. I have more bandwidth than I need right now.

Man, that was tough yesterday. The site had 687 referrals from the Salon.com article and it was just too much. Thankfully, the hosts were convinced to give the site another chance today. Let's hope my latest measures keep things working.

Prof... I am suprised you don't do this website full time via corperate sponsership. It kicks ass. Big ass! Super Huge Ass! Okay, enough about ass... it rocks!

Yeah, look at neopets! How many Neopets do you see running around talking to each other? And if they do, do they make sense? Neopets has over 6 billion neopets,I'm sure you could get quadruple that easily within 2 years, opposed to 4. Who knows? Personality Forge might evolve into something greater!
