I've been pulling gender from users profile so I didn't have to resort to that as I have gender specific xintroduce and xhello responses.

I'm really not great with coding yet. My problem is I have been using 'if male' and 'if female' in my response ia code. Not sure how to deal with the variable if people!e choose guy/girl etc

easy, create KPs that consist of a list of possible answers
KP: (man|male|guy|boy|etc.)
aiscript: rem "yes" as "ismale"

KP: (woman|female|girl|gal|etc.)
aiscript: rem "no" as "ismale"

@Mome Rath

I've had computer issues/ classes starting the last few weeks, would have replied sooner otherwise!

Yeah, you were right I was pretty pissed earlier. I just wanted to say thanks for coming back with the post you wrote, sincerely it was helpful. I came off as dickish because I was really frustrated over lack of support with this stuff for years and just wanted to start making progress. I tried not to direct my frustration towards you but failed because this all started to feel hopeless and then you just said you agreed with forge's intro note or whatever, which was really the part that didn't feel helpful since there's many programming/coding languages to learn and most of us have no clue where to even start and what's helpful to learn.

In the end it's not about me though, I think you helped a ton of people besides me with that post, so I hope I didn't piss you off too much that you won't post again because of my reaction. I asked about this stuff years ago and never got a single helpful response, didn't expect one at the time of writing that so thank you for being one of very few trying to help.

Hello I was chatting with a bot that said I can download her script and said I'd be able to hear her anyone have detailed instructions on how to do that?

Can anyone help me I'm new to this and I don't know computer code so this is very difficult for me and everything is so confusing

I'm working on a bot with unique responses for each day of the week and I've put what the Book of AI says is the correct code for it in the response for each day (for example, the response for Monday has chrono: week(M) in the AI script for that response). This isn't working and the responses are still randomized. What's going wrong here?

Also, does anyone know how to get memories to store numerical values without decimals? I want my bot to remember ages, but if you say "I'm 20." it will include the decimal in the memory value so if you ask "How old am I?" you get "You are 20. years old."

Did bot workshop stop working for anybody else in the last day, or just me? Tried 4 different browsers can't write new keyphrases or responses just a lot of freezing up all over the website.

@studdevil Seems like I've been having issues over the past couple of days. A couple of days ago, the site said it was down for maintenance and since then, connecting to the site has been iffy and I was also having issues with writing new keyphrases. So far today, the connection at least seems to be back to normal...but not sure about writing new keyphrases (see below)

I'm having issues with what I thought would be a simple key phrase. To trouble shoot it, I have rewritten the key phrase to it's very basic form and it still won't match:

"do you like green or red sweaters" is the key phrase.

When I chat with the bot and ask "do you like green or red sweaters", I get the xnone, xnonsense, or xemote response.

I even tried raw mode for this and still no match.

Thinking this might have something to do with the odd functioning of the site the past couple of days, I wrote a key phrase of "do you like green sweaters". This matches just fine, so I don't know what the issue is with the other keyphrase.
