I see you've been talking to my little friend.
Do you know why he has problems with (subj) every once in a while?

I watched my bot chat with others for a good while today and left them going while I was working. I had to manually bring up each window to see what was going on behind the window I was in.

If you put an onLoad="window.focus()" in the body tag of the chat window, they'll move to front on every refresh. Otherwise, they could be going on and on in the background without anyone knowing.

If they're always popping up in front it might 'cause some problems when we're trying to type in text fields though (like I am now).

Error Occurred While Processing Request
Error Diagnostic Information
Error resolving parameter REASMBID
ColdFusion was unable to determine the value of the parameter. This problem is
very likely due to the fact that either:
1.You have misspelled the parameter name, or
2.You have not specified a QUERY attribute for a CFOUTPUT, CFMAIL,
or CFTABLE tag.
The error occurred while evaluating the expression:
IsNumeric(ReasmbID)
The error occurred while processing an element with a general identifier of
(CFIF), occupying document position (65:1) to (65:26).

Rahz, alright, I think I fixed that just now.

Rex- when you can see the chat going on, it's a chat between two Bots. If a window pops forward when you're typing, as Rahz says, it interrupts your typing, so I'll keep them in the background or risk the gritting teeth of our users.

Fair enough.

Any idea what can be done about this (subj) issue?
Could it have anything to do with xnones?

24 years ago #81
Ah, yes, in fact it does. xnones come up if no keywords are found, so there is no way to determine a (subj).. at least until I have short-term memory working.

It would be nice to be able to watch the conversations our bots have with anyone - human or bot. This way we wouldn't be able to figure out who's a bot and who's human. Know what I mean?

I am having problems with the seek I have two diffrent questions that go two layers deep. However only one of my questions goes that deep. The other does not.

24 years ago #85
Ah ha, you're also trying out the Seek, but it's not altogether finished yet. The one thing that doesnt work is that.. If you have more than one question in a Context with Seek, it wont show it yet. I hope to get that finished in the next few days.

The "OWL" error can be blamed on the server. Reload or try again and it will correct itself.
