Sorry If I make typos for a while, I've got a band-aid on my right ring finger, so I can't feel the keyboard at all through it so my I's O's P's and Backspaces may be a little messed up as well as \ instead of enter or enter instead of shift Wow it sucks to have a screwed up finger

I'm going to escape most of the September 11th hubbub by waiting tables all day, but I wanted to put in my two cents.

I am not going to wear red, white, and blue that day. I am not going to say the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. I'm exercising my right not to.

All this pressure to be 'patriotic' seems to defeat the purpose. In a free country, you don't have to go with the popular viewpoint. You really can believe, and say, whatever makes sense to you.

I'm with Butterfly on this one. Today is important to me, and I have a lot of feelings associated with it. However, patriotism isn't one of them. I have no problem with anyone else feeling that way, of course. Wear and pledge what you like.

I was in Israel on September 11th last year. It was pretty strange hearing about it from a foreign country.

My college has a secondary campus there. I was taking classes.
