Guys, it's not Haiku unless you get the right number of syllables. Five, then seven, then five.

Haiku is easy
You just remember to stop
On the seventeenth

Bah! You wizards with your restrictive rules. It's all angles and numbers and, and *spits* gom-metry to you isn't it?

There are also 3-5-3 haiku, and a lot of haiku is translated from Japanese without much regard for getting it into the "correct" 5-7-5 format.

But I'm just learning the rules.
