I find that the AI engine is stripping out my less-than 0 greater-than or just having it show up as "My favorite color is Red. < 0 > (spaces are just so they show up on this post)

Are you preceding the "Red" by the complete three symbols,

? I ask because it looks as though you are writing

I will add spaces so ignore them. < red > Red. that works fine. It's closing it so the rest of my transcripts are not red. It never used to happen. I also never had a user effect the appearance of my transcripts by using bold type or increasing the size of the font.

I read the transcript of one of my bots and he said something that is in the language center of his "sister" bot but is not in his language center. It's pretty weird because he and his "sister" bot have wildly different personalities. Does this really happen?

Mia, That's the "channeling" bug we have been mentioning on and off. The Prof knows about it and he will probably fix it when he has time (I think--I never bother him by emailing--I am pretty sure other do talk to him though).

I have a keyphrase that works on Bildgesmythe, from long ago. I tried it on Kobal today and it won't work. It still functions on Bildgesmythe.

that sounds like the same problem LarsB's having (vide AIEngine forum yesterday.) Hope the Prof fixes it soon - BJ has a pile of that kind of stuff too, though I'm so far behind with his transcripts, I don't suppose I'll catch up before the New Year.

One other weird glitch - having now finally caught up with Great Quotes, and with no unread posts in any of the forums, the total in the left-hand pane now read -4 instead of 0. Weird!

EDIT: Now I've posted this, it say -5!

That's what I have noticed, to me it seems that that is the engines' way of telling you how productive you have been without anyone replying or posting (or something like that).

There is something wrong with self memories, I don't know if it's all memories. Things that work on my old bot will not work on Kobal. I finally got him to record a self mem. but could get him to use it with (self-memorycontents)
-4 instead of 0. Weird!
it seems to subtract one for every post you make.

The AI engine no longer recognizes the word "rhymes". last week it would just not respond to "what rhymes"

I can't get the self memory to work on my newer bot. I changed the keyphrase to the regular memory and it works fine. The self memories work on Bildgesmythe. I can't figure this one out at all.

Prob123: Concerning "rhyme" and "rhymes", what are the keyphrases? I take it "watch out, I take big steps" is an xnone?
