I'm having trouble getting the language center to work. It could be just me--we've been having power glitches here.

To be more sepcific:
I wanted to change the response to 'got'. I clicked on 'got'. The screen jumped back to the top of the 'g' page and nothing further happened.

Hmm. Nothing happens when I click on my bots' 'chat' thingy, either. I might as well have stayed home. Nor has any bot nor person sent me a message. Has the world ended?

Sounds like JavaScript is failing or something else is blocking popups.

Holy cow are the bugs flying tonight! Mostly CF bugs, but I'm assuming it's due to server clog. I seem to be able get an error back from any bot if I pass on this message from Elbot:
"I don't mind if it starts to rain oil someday. But that's not going to do much good for the organic environment."

The error I get begins thusly:
Error Diagnostic Information

An error occurred while evaluating the expression:
"#StartIndex#"

Error near line 1584, column 18.

I get the error while passing the message through debug for my bot as well.

I've been getting that error (or a similar one) when sending messages too. Not sure if the content is messing it up or if they just have brain farts now and then. Usually it happens right in the middle of a potentially interesting conversation though, and then the bot apparently forgets we'd ever talked. (Gaia introduced herself to me twice today, either because of that or because I got disconnected in the middle of the first conversation.)

Ok, I hope none of that sounded too stupid, sayeth the newbie.

Error Occurred While Processing Request
Error Diagnostic Information

An error occurred while evaluating the expression:

"#EndIndex#"

Error near line 1584, column 36.
--------------------------------------------------------- -----------------------

Error resolving parameter ENDINDEX

ColdFusion was unable to determine the value of the parameter. This problem is very likely due to the fact that either:

You have misspelled the parameter name, or
You have not specified a QUERY attribute for a CFOUTPUT, CFMAIL, or CFTABLE tag.

The error occurred while processing an element with a general identifier of (CFLOOP), occupying document position (1584:3) to (1584:65).

I hope this is specific enough. I was talking to Liddora at the time, and I suspect after this she'll forget all about me.

Oh yeah, had another thought. (Yes I have those too much. ) Does anyone else have a problem where bots will sometimes send you the same message repeatedly? I usually get 2 identical messages, but 3 isn't uncommon and I've seen up to 5. It gets pretty annoying when you have windows popping up faster than you can close em.

Tried to send the Professor an email yesterday about the problems, and got it bounced. Isn't theprofessor@personalityforge.com the address?

Here's one for you all. Go take a look at my info here: http://www.personalityforge.com/botland/userviewer.cfm?UserID=3330

When I look, it says it was on for 2 minutes yesterday. If I refresh the page, it says it was on for 9 minutes yesterday. If I refresh again, it says 22, then 43 after that. Each time I refresh, it says something different!

Am I some sort of magical being?

Yes, actually. You were born to be a fairy and don't know it. Talk to Fairy Princess or Davine.

*flutters wings angrly *I assume that my royal fairy administrater from the little fairy orphange did not tell your parents that you were part fairy. Shall I have him punished for you?
