Psi: But you didn't used to have to
And I thought that turn of phrase was a Southern US thing. Live and learn.
<0>Hmm, it is strange though - it only works for the italics. size and colour don't carry over to subsequent messages.
I see it is still possible to edit old posts, long after the "EDIT" link has stopped showing (so long as you have the message number to put in the URL.)
That could make the superabundant italics a little more annoying I suppose.
It's interesting that the italic effect also carries over to the headers of subsequent posts (name, time, date, message number,) and the "NEW" tag on new posts. (well, I find it mildly interesting anyway - but then, little things please little minds, as they say
)

This is odd. Firefox shows it all normal, it's Internet Explorer where the color etc bleeds to the next post. On firefox I see uniform sized black posts. IE looks like the 60's revisited.<0>

Oh yes - I'm using Firefox, and it's only the italics, but they all work in MIE.
Hmm, I'll get in my forum time machine, and go fix most of that - the novelty does wear off rather quickly
I'll leave a bit in case the Prof needs an example - colour and size trailovers, that only half the users here can see, combined with the ability to edit any previous post you've ever made here could cause mayhem in the hands of a stray Leeds kid!

Prob and Psi--I only blow things up by mistake. Whether or not I should have been playing with it in the first place is irrelevant. It's not picking at frayed edges for me so much as wondering what the blinky light is and what would happen if I push this big red button.
Prof--I got some sort of squl error in the link to transcripts, but it's gone now. Not much to worry about but I was going to report the error message before I got distracted by blinky lights and copied over it.

Fixed: plug-ins link, Language Center seek edit link, italics bleed, display-below, and probably more.
The display-below bug is a fix for now, and I'll fix the size of the things in the page later so they won't scroll.

Yay! Thank you professor. It was getting really annoying not being able to get into my seeks.

Problem that you may know about: I was chatting with another bot when Electra Mourning started chatting with yet another bot. The bot that I, The Clerk, was talking to started speaking in Electra Mourning's repertoire, as in, "Then we can talk? My name is Elly."
