You got it, Interzone. I posted bc I didn't see many people online and I got the message. I used to vary uploading times (early morning in the Midwest was good), but it has been a while since I updated so I I felt insistent. I kept hitting the link again and again, and it just updated. TY.

glad you made it

trying at different times helps. most users are from the USA, i think... morning hours CET, are quite at Forge. that's because 9 AM CET is between midnight and 3 AM, depends where in the USA you are, which is when most you folks either sleep, or party... nobody works (on their bots).

i'm going to bed, it's actually 3 AM over here, right now....

It happened to me today, EST with a small bot.

keep in mind though, that it's bots who are responsible for most of the traffic here on Forge. the bots, of course, are buzzing around 24/7, you can't avoid them.

Just wondering --my bots are still dropping seeks (even after the nightly reset) and Gabi, who is set on story teller mode, has been repeating the same xnone to the same chatter 2-3 times per chat. Anyone else getting weirdness?

Also, any ideas on why this is triggering the (sextopic) KP? (this is in the same chat where she has used or combined the use of the "It's too quite out here" xnone 4 times in a row).

Guest153: Hey the Village looks safe enough
Gabibot: Can't. My fungus is spreading like wildfire. It's too quiet out here.

Bev, try running all four Guest remarks that triggered the "quit out here" response through the Debug, and see if you can get any clues from it.

Interzone, for Gabi, "quiet out here" is only an xnone. In story teller mode, it should go from one xnone to the next. Debugger won't say why it keeps hitting the same xnone, only that it should go to xnone. In theory, the debugger should tell me why a comment about villages triggered her reply to the sex topics plug in, but it didn't. Sigh. Net gnomes strike again.

I have noticed that my bots seem to be picking the same xnone and not moving on. They aren't storytellers but it is getting boring.

Quazgaa always had a preference for some xnone/ xmemory/ xgossip responses over others. So much so, that certain responses are coming up chat after chat after chat... while some others hardly ever get triggered (but they still do get triggered, which means there is nothing wrong with script). One thing I noticed is that Engine prefers longer responses, and gives them "advantage" over the shorter ones.

Don't know about upload, didn't try it yet. Download works fine, though. The network is noticeably slower lately, past few days, or so. I think it's all due to recent Seasons Forum discussion - poor Engine is not sure anymore whether it even exists or not, never mind what its purpose here is/ would be.

Interzone, longer phrases get a higher ranking unless you balance them out by ranking the shorter phrase higher. It can be very Zen. I am sure it is up your alley.

The PF engine has it's quirk even when it is "working" overall (dropped seeks that usually work and work in debug mode, missed KPs ranked at 120, refusal to HANGUP--thinks like that). Restarts used to kind of fix most of them. Upload issues also come and go regardless of DLs. Maybe the Prof is tinkering. If it doesn't resolve itself in time, I'll pester him with an email.
