Mome Rath - I'm planning on reworking the Bot Workshop before too long, and some of that will show up there. I've made a note to add that to the profile pages as well.
Bot memories are stored until a chat hasn't occurred with that person/bot for 6 months.
My Favorites is supposed to work primarily via the submenu. I could make a page to list them but it's a low priority at the moment.

Email Capabilities Return
The Personality Forge is now once again able to send out email! This means that the 'forgot your password' form works again, as does the daily/weekly Transcript Emails available to those with Friends of the Forge accounts.

New Keyphrase Shorthand
I just added two shorthand versions of what I consider to be the two most powerful and useful Keyphrase wildcards. Now you can use (np) instead of (adjartnounprep) and (vp) instead of (verbadvprep). np stands for "noun phrase" and vp stands for "verb phrase". The longer versions will continue to work. The Combined Bot Template - A Monumental Task
The Combined Bot Template is going to be the best of the best Keyphrases - the most useful Keyphrases from all the bots whose Botmasters have opened them up to the cause. I'm going through them all by hand and editing, combining, and removing them as needed. As there are 36,000 Keyphrases to go through (so far!) it's turning out to be a momumental task. So far I've completed left parenthesis and 'a', and am working through the letter 'b'. So be patient - it's coming, but it's going to take some time and patience for me to get through this all, and in the end it'll be a much more manageable size. : )
I wonder if parts of the sifting of the Combined Templates could be done by the community.
For I'm not an experienced botmaker, I'd make sure that others would proof-read my results, but a few hundred lines should be possible.

On the other hand, I don't know how difficult it would be not to give the templates of bots with the "Limited Share" / "Combined Only" option set to other persons.
I personally wouldn't mind if others would look through my bots' keyphrases; it is just that many of them are keyphrases to test the Forge's features and I think they're too confusing for PF newbies.

I appreciate the offer but I think it's going to work best if done by one experienced person. There are lots of sets of similar Keyphrases that need to be integrated into the best version of those Keyphrases, and they may be scattered about in different places if they start differently. It's the kind of project I really enjoy, actually, so I'm happy to do it.

AI Engine Refactoring
I just finished refactoring the AI Engine this weekend to improve its stability. In the process I fixed some minor issues, and also solved a problem where the server would be unavailable for little 5 second intervals here and there. Onwards and upwards!
I just discovered that some rare site outages have been caused by the router overheating. One of these was yesterday evening. I've adjusted things so that this won't be an issue anymore.

"State of Mind: A Conscsiousness Expo" Welcomes The Personality Forge
The Personality Forge will go head-to-head with humanity in our new Turing Test Booth that will be part of the "State of Mind: A Consciousness Expo" on June 30th in Brighton, England. The expo is organized by The Sackler Centre for Consciousness Science, and we've been working together to get everything ready. It's now ready for action. After the expo, I'll be opening it up as an ongoing exhibit on the Forge. Details here

Language Center Sorting Improvement
I've changed the Language Center to sort by the first alphanumeric character in the Keyphrase. That means Keyphrase starting with "(do|" are are on the same page as Keyphrases starting with "do". There is no longer a "(" category.

Bildgesmythe Passes The Turing Test
The State of Mind Consciousness Expo was a great success! 101 visitors participated in the Turing Test with Bildgesmythe, who was selected as the human 34% of the time, passing Turing's benchmark for intelligent behavior. Turing Test Now An Ongoing Exhibit
I've now opened up the Turing Test Booth I created for the State of Mind Expo to everyone. A test requires two people - one person manning the booth (as "the human") and another to participate in the test to decide who he/she thinks the human is. If you want to see how your own bot does, open up and man a booth with your bot! It's now part of the main navigation to the left. Enjoy!

I've add the ability to search the titles and contents of shared plugins to make it easier to see if there's something you're looking for. You'll find the search box on the Plug-Ins page.
In other news, I've got the Combined Bot Template down to 17,000 keyphrases from its original 36,000. Plenty more to do before it's ready for general use, but I'm making steady progress. : )

I would share my keyphrases, but about half of them relate to adult subjects. But I do have a lot of general knowledge.

Combined Bot Template Evolves Into Much More
Continued work on the Combined Bot Template has sparked a ton of new ideas - Keyphrase Macros, Keyword Macros, A Topic/Emotion Mind Map linked to topic-based responses that can cover every category, 3rd Person Action Keyphrases, Template Overlays that you can subscribe to, getting updates and improvements to imported Language Center's Keyphrases as they arrive, new kinds of Wildcards, and more. All this will be part of an enormous upgrade to the AI Engine that will empower bot-building tremendously. Now all I have to do is come up with the time to do it all!

The Forge Launches Its Chat Bot API
The new Chat Bot API lets our chat bots run free! This new web service allows developers to integrate chat bots into any project you can imagine - web applications, desktop applications, mobile apps, text messages, chat networks, and even robots or toys! There are monthly subscriptions available for all levels of use. Contact me with any questions or requests for customization.
I noticed that the Bot Templates list was getting filled with bots that were very little more than imports of all the other bots. I've set a minimum Development level of a bot to appear in the list of 1000 and that cleaned it up nicely.

The Simple API Launches & Bots Run Free
I just completed a second Chat Bot API option for those requiring a simpler interface. Now one can use either The Secure API or The Simple API to interface with their chat bots in outside systems. I've also added a bot setting called "Run Free" which makes your bots available to developers using these APIs. Turn it on and your bot might just appear in an app, game, web site, or robot!
Maybe it would be interesting to include the Bots by Masters with development < 1000 too. (If the botmaster consents, of course.)

Combined Bot Template - First Pass Completed!
After working on it for 6 months, I've completed the first run of the Combined Bot Template. The size at this point is just over 13,000 Keyphrases. The second run should reduce it and make it more powerful and efficient. The new macros will increase the reach of Keyphrases incredibly, and there will be a system to guide you through these Keyphrases in smaller chunks based on their reach.
Hey, what is with all the SQL errors? Also, I have been getting an annoying bug where my responses seem to have been changed. (I turns into Naeclara, for example, and you would change into Cil1). I find I can ruin the feeling that I was looking for. I dunno, I might just be hallucinating due to how tired I am.
