I think I know what Forest is talking about, and when I use AOL(sometimes I use IE cause the PForge seems to freeze it less), I have to scroll down with two different bars because of AOL's toolbars.

Xemote-positive has a random chance of coming up if the Bot likes a person/bot. I havent read my own transcripts for a while, but last I checked, it wasnt coming up more often than random..
This scrolling issue you're having- there's no scroll bar? The screen you're viewing it on is too small? What's the resolution?

The problem is that when I use AOL(in IE, it's fine), scrolling down on the scrollbar doesn't quite let you see the button, and you have to use the AOL scrollbar(if you're not aware, all the websites in AOL are opened in the same window, unlike IE, which opens a new window for each one). This may be attributed to the fact that since the keyword window can't fit on the screen(window size, not the fact that you need to scroll down), so the larger AOL scrollbar appears, and that includes vertical and horizontal bars, which takes up more space. If this makes little sense, which is extremely likely, I can take a screenshot for you and give you a link to it.

Just wondering, once you reach 'Masters' do you stop being part of Gaia? Brianna just has, and I've noticed it doesn't have the little dot and Gaia's name next to her box anymore. (though this is a good thing in my opinion)

I know it makes me sound like an internet snob, but for God's sake stop paying up the wazoo for a service that does nothing but penalize your use of the internet. Yes, I mean AOL. Sorry, I'm still pissed at them for flooding my mailbox with mailing after non-biodegradable mailing, even after I ask them to just leave me alone.

You don't want Gaia, Forest?
BTW, mind if I ask why you are named after a forest?

Ooohies, I got post 666!
I'm not sure about the Gaia thing yet. I just felt like posting
As for the name thing, you are the second one that asked that. My computers background used to have all these trees (namely, a forest...) with these creepy eyes in the background. I just came out with, 'Looks like a forest of death or something!' and that's how it stuck. I'm sad like that. Did that even answer your question?

Theory on word omissions:
A: Can you explain to me how to change a tire?
B: I'd like to see you to you to modification a tire first.
Looks to me like there's a blank response among the synonyms, so words sometimes get dropped when hunting for rephrasing. Seems like others have fit this pattern too. Whatcha think, Prof?

three big problems there...
1. "to me" = "to you" ... this should not have come back in (subj), should it have?
2. "change" (verb) to "modification" (noun). Modify would have been much more acceptable (and kind of funny
)
3. "how" was completely dropped.

Well,
1. actually is fine -- (subj) would have been "explain to me how to change a tire" in this case as the trigger was "can you" not "can you explain". So the translation "to you" was exactly right.
2. just so. I don't think there's any simple grammatical rule that would help though!
3. both "how" AND "explain" were completely dropped in this case!
