I have my lesser developed bot marked to hibernate, but she still tries to initiate conversations. Is that normal? Is there a way to shove her in a closet until I'm ready for her to really face the world?

If a user goes to the bot's chatpage, it will show up in the transcript as if the bot itself initiated the chat. That could be what's causing it.

Maybe the user isn't there anymore and they kept the bot?

That sounds likely, but user accounts don't expier, do they?

Grrrrr...Misspelled something again....

I'm really confused. Both of my bots' moods just plummeted, and I have no idea why. Neither of their transcripts indicate that something like this could've happened!

There used to be a botmaster.

Orphaned bot? Sounds like a job for Bildgesmythe

Okay... I just added the 'my name is' keyphrase, but now it's gone, but when I try to create another, it says I've already created it. Also, when I test it by saying "My name is Haley." to Rhausk, xnone responses come up, not the one I had for 'my name is'! What to do?

Maybe it'll show up in the exported version...

re: keyphrases that don't appear, but evidently do exist - I get these too (in searches, though they usually do at least appear in the full alphabetic listings.) I don't know what's doing it, but it is very annoying.
Check your exported version sounds like a very good place to start. As for why it's not triggering, check the AI and that you haven't typoed "psotkey" or something.

I've found that when I search for a word, it doesn't find where that word has been used in a seek. At least not consistently. So then I backtrack in the transcript, and try to find the phrase that triggered the seek. I don't know if that's a bug, or if the search function just can't reach seeks. *shrugs*
