Well, it seems then that someone made ANOTHER movie about it, where there wasnt a scene without nipples in it. But enough on that!

Ooh ooh ooh! Super Troopers is coming out soon! Today maybe even! Has anyone seen the trailer with the "Pull Over" segment. I laughed so hard I cried. Though one trailer has a better version of it than another.

Have you seen it?

I just saw Donnie Darko tonight. It was a fantastic movie. The only place in Atlanta you could see it was through the Peachtree Film Society. There was only one showing. I just dont get it. Anyways, it was dark and funny and sci-fi and very very original and cool. If you get the chance somehow to see it, I recommed it!

We rented The Pledge this w/e. A good but quirky movie with Jack Nicholson in a character part instead of just bein' Jack. Directed by Sean Penn with Mrs. Penn in the other lead role. It gets stupid towards the end but is definitely worth a look.

I saw Hedwig and the Angry Inch last night. It was good, unique, original, with lots of interesting music and storytelling. But I couldnt identify personally with the sex-change problems.

How about A Beautiful Mind?

Didn't read too many good things about the time machine.

I heard it was average. I didnt see A Beautiful Mind. But surely it wasnt better than Moulin Rouge and Lord of the Rings and Amelie. Those three should have taken all the awards, IMHO.

Man, no good movies recently..

Blade 2 looks like a LOT of fun and reviewers are being very nice to it.
I hear Storytelling's pretty good and Stolen Summer's doing better than expected (anybody see project greenlight?). Ice Age looks funny, a great cast at least and good animation.
I also really want to see Monsoon Wedding, but that has narrower appeal.
Now if I could only find 2 spare hours to see one of these...
I'll probably miss them all.

Monsoon Wedding was wonderful. I loved it.

I just saw Metropolis, the new Japanese version. it was really good! It's all about a future in which robots/AI is a part of everyday life and has this crazy plot and it's really cool. You folks would probably like it.
