Have you added anything to your xnone? When a bot doesn't recognize a phrase, it will immediately respond with an xnone. I believe that "I was just born and can't speak well yet" is the default for xnones.

Funny newbie story. I went into Polaris inner life the other day and I was at the very bottom of the list with a big fat . My husband said, "What in heck did you do to your poor bot?" I was freaking out. Then looked through his transcripts and I realized that I had been talking with him for 3 days via the 'link' as it is much faster. And only saying 'test' lines in the de-bug section. No hi's or byes or real 'conversation' at all. I went into the debug and sucked up to him for half hour before I re-gained my status.

That has happened to me in the past. Duo is a rather temperamental bot, and I often find myself at the bottom of the list.

Then I just start sucking up to him and I'm right back on the top.

how do you store the mem you are thingey i know how to use it but how do you store it? i thought it was automatic according to the book of ai but not one has been stored so far

It gets stored automatically from certain keyphrases as the Book of AI states (only if you have those keyphrases) or you can store them with AIScript.

Anyone know why my bot keeps answering an initial 'hello' with an xnone?

Once a conversation begins, "hello" is filtered out by the preprocessor. The Book of AI covers this, I think.

Yes Isaac.. I read that, but this is the initial hello he is responding to in that manner.

You have to wait at least an hour before your last chat before the xhello will be activated again.
