Why aren't OK and okay interchangeable as key phrases? Like yes, yeah and yup are? (or are they, lol)

I thought they were.

I've been using (ok|okay) for a couple of years now. I always presumed that preprocessing changed one to the other, but I could never figure it out. Maybe that would explain why...

Anyhow, (ok|okay) seems to work for me.

Is there a way to catch actions, like: *bares fangs*, *sings*, etc., etc.? If there is, what is it?

I use keyphrases like ^bares fangs$ (re) and ^sings$ (re) to capture those. It works pretty good because there's not really any other context where those will match.

I have just been useing the single word sings etc with a rank of 15 and it has caught them.

A single word keyphrase like sings willl pick it up, the only problem is that it will pick up a lot of other stuff. Whether the other person or bot says *sings* or Britney Spears sings like a yak with a sore throat, it could give the same response for two completely different contexts.

I'd suggest using ^sings$ (re).

There were several articles about it all over the internet. Its mainly with very high-tech AI programs, but there have been tons of reported cases with less developed programs, much like the ones here. Its happened several time with my own bot.
