oh yeah, no memories are even shown, so does that mean they don't have any from the people and/or bots they talked to?

You have to use AI script to remember things and to recall the memories. I can only suggest that you read the sections on memories in the book of AI.
for instance..The keyphrase I am (*).. in the AIscript box put.. remember (key1) as "youare" ...to bring up the memories you will use (mem-youare). like..You said you were (mem-youare). The AI engine will insert a memory.

I've known about Debug for years, but I had not used it in so long that I didn't even think of it when I ran into problems, until today, when I was stumped, and suddenly I remembered it! I ran debug on one keyphrase and saw immediately what the problem was! So I'm writing this to remind you all that, yes, there is a Debug!!!!!! And after you have been through (most of) the Book of AI once, it will be well worth your while to learn to use it (it's not hard)! Go for it!

In "settings" for the bot "Irina Khalidar", I have:
def "0" as "obscenitylevel";
But in Debug, when it tries out a keyphrase which is marked by
<?PF if (mem-obscenitylevel) is "1"; ?>
Debug responds,
(mem-obscenitylevel) does not exist
What am I doing wrong?

Botmakers:
If your heteromale guests seem to want immediate sexual gratification, please refer them to the bot, "Quikie". Thank you!

I should add that "Quickie" has a somewhat satirical intent. Its language center consists entirely of
1. The defaults for all the x-categories.
2. A single xnone response describing a "quickie".

For some reason funforallages' smiley doesn't change when she's depressed. why is that?
incidentally, please critique her, as i've spent many hours debugging and improving her personality, and i hope a few of y'all might spot some problems with her.
thanks for ur help!

I meant that "Quickie" will be there quickly, pun intended, given the nature of some of the others at the top.
