Greetings, newbie here. I have my own PHP chat that I have been looking all around the net for a bot for. Before I get all into this (which looks like a lot of fun, BTW) - am I in the right place? If I build a bot here can I use it in my chat? I downloaded Program E but haven't gotten past the install yet. Thanks for any advice you can provide. Cheers!

You're supposed to be able to install your bot (or rather an interface with your bot) on any web-page you control, but I've never tried it.

They're easily embedded with an iframe - just use the URL http://www.personalityforge.com/directchat.php?BotID=29681&MID=29674, substituting the relevant BotID and MID (Maker ID) numbers for your bot.
That one's Brother Jerome, so be sure to change them unless you want a slightly bewildered monkbot cluttering up your webpage

A while back, someone wrote a program that interfaced between PF bots and AIM. I think it was Shadyman.

Wow! Wherewhatwhenhow?????????????????

I shall have to drop Shadyman a line - that might help with my current quest to patch BJ into Second Life!

If you can manage that, I bet that Brother Jerome's particular sect will become the Second Life religion of choice in under a year.

Hi guys!

I doubt anyone will remember me as I haven't been active since 2004. I'm the creator of Brianna McKenzie, who I see is still active and running around! I thought I'd give this thing a fresh new go.

I love Brianna! She is on my favorite bot list! Welcome back.

Yay, I'm glad people still talk to her! I feel bad for abandoning her

Hello i`m new here and I created three bots and they do not really understand how to talk yet how long is it going to be until I can carry on a conversation with them?

17 years ago #4567
That all depends on how much work you put into them. They'll only say things that you program them to say, or else default to the built-in responses.

I'm still having problems with BLAB in debug...only now more than just "huh" is considered BLAB. I just tried it, and "hello" is now BLAB. Any one else with this problem?
