"Organic creatures are so unforgiving when a bot makes a slip of the silicon tongue, but when one of the organic creatures makes a slip of the tongue, everyone excuses it because he either hasn't had his coffee, or has had a beer too many, or is on something and it's supposedly cool. Anybody else with some idea why this is? "
I think it's because people have stereotypes about robots that they got from TV or movies...

Is there any way to repeat a question that has just been asked or answer the "what were we talking about?" question?
Obviously I don't want to put a "pardon?" seek in every keyphrase so any advice is gratefully received.

I wonder what would happen if you made a bot that acts like a leeds kid, and attracted a leeds person to it...

Oh, I don't know. Only give it xresponses, with bad spelling, lots of "asl" and "you nerd"... Might be hard to tell the difference.
