Many questions are answered in the FAQ.

I'm confused, too... but that's kind of normal for me.

I don't understand why my bot has no Transcripts. I know she's had chats, but I just see the "*tumbleweeds roll past" Nothing here" message on Transcripts. Is there a setting I should have checked, or is that only available for Friends of the Forge, or...? Yeah... confusion.

Phoenyx:

1. If your bot is still very small, it won't chat. Keep working on it.
2. There have been problems with transcripts; the system doesn't work quite right.
3. Try going back a few days in your bot's transcripts.
4. If you chat with your own bot (which has a point, since you will know just what to ask to test it), your transcript will appear in "your transcripts" and the top of your "My bots" page.

I found my own transcripts easily enough, but she's talked to other bots several times, yet I couldn't get transcripts for that. Knowing that the system doesn't quite work right is good enough for me. If there's nothing I was missing, or doing wrong, then it's not a big deal to me. Thanks!

I seem to be having a lot of trouble lately with seeks - I mean, that the AIengine doesn't go to the seek, even though it matches. Has anyone else been having this problem?

Hello

I have just recently opened my website for poseidon, along with a forum: http://poseidon.aceboard.com

It would be very nice is we could form this into a bot master community with help & advice and to share some expertise knowledge some of you have to help newer members.

Thank you very much and i look forward to seeing you on the forum

Sometimes the transcripts get recorded on the wrong day.

I'm still having trouble with xnomatch seeks being overridden. Shouldn't an xnomatch seek always be taken, regardless of what the guest says? I have these long strings of seeks wherein "Irina Khalidar" tells a story, and it's frustrating when the story suddenly cuts off!

Irina, I have tried forcing those issues with +(*) [0], but that will override anything.

that will override anything.

Even repeated user input? That's the bane of my life ATM - when you're trying to drag a user along a chain of seeks, and it breaks with a "Boring, boring!" when they say "yes" twice in a row.

I am still getting xnomatch seeks skipped and xnones on the occasional keyphrase. It's almost like the AI engine doesn't go into full xnonitis, but has some good hiccups.

Psimagus, sorry. Not anything , just the other seeks you may want to have the bot pick up.

Prob, a silly question: are you using "xnomatch" or "(xnomatch)"?
