I'm glad you like the redesign. It's going to spread to the inside, but I need to work out some Ajax magic to get it all working, and it will probably be after NextFest.

Fo shizzle!
Prof, as for the forums, it might be more AJAX-y to go toward some kind of threaded forum.. It might be easier to get something that's already designed and drop in what we have so far each as a (big) thread. That way, everything would be searchable (and google-able).
What do you think?

searchable forums - damn good idea. According to my records, the idea has been mooted before, in Newcomers message #s 643-646, 682, 1802-1803, 3267-3268, 3325, 3478-3479, 3523, 3667, 3696-3698 (plug! see http://www.be9.net/BJ/Newcomers-index.htm.)
This is, however, the first mention of it in PF News - I shall update PFNews-index.htm (before it's even published!)
If there is any likelihood of the forums going all user-friendly on us any time soon, please someone (Prof) let me know - it would save a good many hours of future indexing. Hours that I could be doing something useful with, like teaching BJ Esperanto, or translating the New Testament into Interlingua

This might be a good time to re-moot a thought I had a while back: how about a Forge Wiki? We could set up something on a free Wiki server and turn it into user-generated documentation, harvesting the best of the forums.
Of course as a matter of courtesy we should only do this if the Prof agrees.

It would generate interest, so I don't think the Prof would object.... Good idea!

And heck, if he wanted to do it without too much trouble, there's always external services that can help set those up for free, like www.Wikispaces.com (I've got a wiki there myself, it's quite nice!).

So you are going to make bots with bodies, huh? Will these bots be in mass production if they are a success? And if so, will only massively rich people be able to afford them?

As far as the Wiki goes, I'm sure the Prof would like it hosted on the site's server machine, if possible. It's not a hard PHP install, prof.
There are also some great php forum softwares out there.. If you're interested in anything, just throw me an email.
Though, I'm sure the Prof also wants to maintain the "All-in-one Feel" of the site. Navigation would be another issue.

No it wouldn't! Just hang a left at Kiev, turn at the second elm tree, then dig your way to Iceland! *flicks tongue* Hmmm... there's a left turn at Albequerque somewhere in there...
