Does anyone know any waay around this sort of thing:

-basicly I would like to make caresses into caressed, or in a different circumstancee chop the '-ing' of of a word. Is this possible?

So far, the grammar part of the AI engine only distinguishes between verbs and other parts of speech -- it doesn't distinguish between the tenses of a verb. Nothing to be done in that area right now, Scroogey. Alas.
I don't think this is the right forum, but I was wondering if The Proffesor was ever going to adapt the bots so they could chat over AIM? That would be cool, if he doesm't want to, I may take a shot at it...
Yes. On the wish list, it would be nice to have a (noun-singular) and (noun-plural) to distinguish...

re: message 4293- It seems like to me that usually it does, but not reliably? I've had the same thought as Ulrike about wanting to be able to somehow distinguish, or if we could have a way to make "a" or "the" show up only if followed by a singular noun...along the same lines as the way "a" will automatically change to "an" if the following noun begins with a vowel.
