Hmm, I tried to register on the forum in order to enter, and never got a confirmation email.

I don't see you entered Try again! they have a new link on the CBC home page. You have to add to the directory first

Are you sure you used the right email address? Check your spam box maybe.

If you still can't get it to work, one of us that's already signed up could enter your bot for you.

Eugene Meltzner - A note regarding your bot. If you are still having problems enter through the CBC forum:

If you can contact him, please ask him about his username on the CBC forum so I can activate it manually.

Once I get his bot details, I will add it to the bots directory and include it to the contest.

Best regards and have a nice day,
Ehab El-agizy

I registered under the name "Fibonacci", which in retrospect is probably confusing since it doesn't match my user name here. But it does match my user name almost everywhere else, lol.

And I am not participating this year.

Good Luck Everyone

I got this comment on the Chatterbox Challenge site:

"This bot is responding to my queries, but to me, the replies are annoying and out of universe"

Given the nature of my bot, I'm pretty sure that's a compliment.

Hee hee. Eugene I think it is a complement. I like bots with character that pleases me, and if other people don't get the concept they can go to another bot. The problem is that some CBC people are looking for that omniscient but human-like computer and not personality as such.

I have one where the quest couldn't figure out where to type the questions and said the interface was not user friendly...I am pretty sure that's scary.

Is there going to be popular voting this year?

I feel like Vashenka did pretty well, but I'm not sure if the judges will agree. She certainly didn't give straight answers to many of those questions.
