i am dissapointed, this engine sucks, on my site, talk.st-3.com, you can chat with many GOOD bots. These ones don't make the cut, nice try though

But can they solve quadratic equations or play chess? Probably not.

Did you make any of the bots on that 'better' site?

I just had a conversation with Bob from that site. He's an average bot -- not horrible, but not particularly noteworthy. There are hundreds of bots here that are worse, but quite a few that are better.

Regardless of how good his bots and website engine are, steven k's post above is far too rude and arrogant for me to even consider going to his site. I have no interest in seeing anything a person like that is involved with.

Oh, I don't know, it could still be an interesting site even if someone rude and arrogant is involved. I mean, we've had people like Roxie and students from Leeds involved here.

Steven K does have a point (though I wish he'd made it more diplomatically!)

Many of the bots on this site do suck. Most of them are never developed far because people lose interest, which is understandable. Unfortunately it does mean that people like SK can get a bad first impression of the Forge.

I wonder if bots that go cold should automatically go into hibernation if their AI is below a certain level?

Do you really think he talked to any bots??? I don't..I think he is just a kid with a mouth

The Professor periodically recycles cold newborns. I don't know what the development cut-off is, though.
