I wish I could be that young again, then I really would get into the programming business and learn everything in school rather than teaching myself but when I was young they didn't even knew what computers are. so I have to teach me everything myself today<0>

you don't learn programming in my school . our ICT lessons are really crap.

But you learn the basics I suppose, I didn't even have that.

We don't learn anything about programming unless we take the specific classes for it in college or figure it out ourselves, actually.

yep,they just teach us boring stuff, tedious stuff or stuff we already know many many many times. never anything of importance.

I used to work in a computer lab tied to a math course. There were some students straight out of high school who didn't even know which end of the 3.5 inch disc went into the slot first. *sighs* (In a few years, we may be so focused on USB devices that no one will use floppies any more, but that did NOT apply at the time)
