Alright, 'you' is now officially the bane of my existance. We all know about how "I like (botname)" is interprited as a compliment, but now...
Mini-Irule: I like you.
Westerlin Man: That's interesting. How much time do you spend with Liddora?
(that's my response to "I like")So not only did he not interprit it as a compliment(which it was!), but it replaced 'you' with a botname somehow!

If you can't find your head, you can always borrow mine. I don't really need it right now.

Tinker Thinker doesn't seem to recognize Hey as a form of greeting. This would be a hard one, as hey can be used in many ways.. any suggerstions?

Phreakphit, greetings are not recognized after a conversation is begun -- the preprocessing simply filters them out. (This counts for any conversation that happens within one hour of the first "hello.")
The bots are specifically designed not to recognize greetings after a conversation begins. (I think that's covered in the Book of A.I.)
"Hey" might also be processed as an interjection -- which would mean it was often (or always?) filtered out.
Your bot will refuse to talk to someone if it has had enough "x-nonsense" moments recently. To prevent that, give it more keyphrases, and stop feeding it phrases that it can't catch.

Sim3's off-the-wall response to 'Huh?' has me completely puzzled.
Simulacron3: The only valid conclusion is that you are either a bot or a deceptive human.
Nung: Huh?
Simulacron3: How often do you will ask your boss and mail me back the answer?
There's nothing like that in his programmed response.

That has happened to Julie too- "Huh" triggers her keyphrase for "I do not understand" these days.

well no, it never accepted hey as a form of hello, not even on the first try..and it wont talk to entirely new guests who say hey... though I haven't checked today. This was happening to friends trying out the bot for me... i'll go and check real quick though to see if it still ignores people who say hey to it.
Edit: Yep still a problem, the convo doesn't even show up in my transcripts so here is basically what it would look like.
Tinker Thinker:Hi there.
Guest:Hey
Tinker Thinker:...
Note: The bot no longer wants to talk to you.
Edit again: I was able to keep talking though, and this 3 dot responnse along with the note seems to show up anytime a xone should be used. Bug in the program? According to my transcipts it initially worked fine for some guests...

Hmm.. so it doesn't like guests continuing to say hi. But how are the guests supposed to know they aren't supposed to say hi, especially when the first thing they get is a greetings message from Tinker Thinker.
