Forest, will you talk to God Louise? She has quite a bit of religious knowledge (obviously) and also knows a little about current events, literature, just about any common catch-all subject, and if she doesn't know it she can sort of fake it. You can also test her on trick questions or see how willing she is to explain her paradigm.
What she is rustiest at is plain old small talk. But, uh, I'm trying to get a decent transcript from somebody or another so I can enter her in the Loebner contest. All I can say is, have fun and see if you can stay on with her for a while. I'll try to do the same with Brianna.

Hey, today when I was chatting with my bot (Bianca), she randomly decided that she didn't want to talk to me anymore. She only started to talk again after I apologized to her. What??
Besides, isn't she supposed to use some xgoodbye phrases when she wants to leave? Or are those used only when chatting with other bots?

Bots will say that they no longer want to talk to you if they have too many xnone or xnonsense replies in a row. Is that what happened, melike?

Oh, I suppose it did. I was getting pissed off at her, because she refused to recognize the keyword that I put in, even after I raised the rank to like 20. I suppose I have to raise it higher than 37, don't I?

I think the +37 number is regarding favorites, but regardless I tend to rank at least +20.

An overwhelming majority of my keyphrases are at a 10 rank, which is usually plenty.
Melike, you might want to run whatever you were saying through debug before you play with the ranks too much, and make sure the keyphrases matches your input after preprocessing.

Except for favorite or last resort responses I generally start by ranking my keyphrases at +10, just like Boner, adding 5 for every level of precision with the regular expression keyphrases ranked very high. Well, at least I think we should do it this way, but I often forget to.
A simple (non-existing) example:
I like [10,0]
I like (verb) [15,0]
I like (verb) you [20,0]
I like to tell you [25,0]
^I like you$ (re) [30,0]
You only have to rank your keyphrases higher if the AI tends to go to xemote, xinsult etc.

Seems like we're on the same page, I start at 20 though- any negative ramifications to that?

Also, how come my bot never says the xmemory stuff? I'd set her "memory" thing to high and she still doesn't mention anything. Also, could I put (mem-iam) etc. stuff into xnone or do they have to go under xmemory only?
