Yeah, I guess if it doesn't trigger an x response then a custom keyphrase would work.

Is there some way to prevent gossip from returning "empty" results? I mean, Simulo keeps saying things like "Shadyman thinks I'm," because he doesn't have a mem-iam for that person.

C: my honest opinion you want my honest opinion! How about this: anorexic plate armor
GH: Your is the reason you don't go out on more dates.

GH should have said "Your *honest opinion* is the..."
Since GH fed C the line "honest opinion," C's original must have looked like
"my (key1) you want my (key1)! How about..."
And so I assume that GH saw this phrase, instead of the final phrase with "honest opinion" inserted, and so had nothing to include in his response.

when you ask a bot it's favorite, it seems to respond with my favorite type of dog is (typeof-dog-n)

(in the dog example)

kaddar, i've been getting that too. i think i read in the 'book' that the typeof-whatever system is tied into wordnet, and might not be fully functional.

Kaddar and sollun--
That's a new system that's being put in, I think it will incorporate something similar to a plugin

For example, there would be a plugin for (typeof-dog-n) that would include Chihuahua, Cocker Spaniel, etc

Can someone make some sense of this for me? It looks like Simulo isn't taking the rank of keyphrases into consideration, but I might be wrong. He has a keyphrase for "dream" and another one (higher ranked by about 12) for "Midsummer * Dream" ... but even when I say "Midsummer Night's Dream" to him (and nothing else) it catches the word "dream" only.

Is pre-processing screwing this up by somehow making "Midsummer Night's" into one word?

This Phrase: "Midsummer_Night's Dream"
Find: midsummer (*) dream (56) Time: 0.51
Find: Midsummer * Dream (52) Time: 0.51
Find: dream (25) Time: 0.51
(Found)
Bonus Score: 6 (12 / (1+1))
Sentence Score: 0
Yes!... (Rank: 31)
Highest!
